Stockbridge, MA – The Stockbridge Land Trust will hold its 2020 Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2019 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Kampoosa Bog Basin information panel at Eden Hill .  The guest speaker for the meeting will be Jess Toro.  In addition to being the President of the Stockbridge Land Trust, Jess is the Principal at Native Habitat Restoration, LLC, which specializes in identifying and removing invasive plant species from wetlands, woodlands, meadows, river areas and rare habitats in order to return those settings to a more natural and balanced ecological state.

NOTE: While this event will take place outdoors, social distancing protocols will be observed.

About the Stockbridge Land Trust:
The Stockbridge Land Trust is a nonprofit corporation that was established in 1987.  It has a fifteen-member governing board and an active membership of over four hundred local residents and friends.  The mission of the Land Trust is to encourage and promote the preservation of land and the natural, historic, and community resources in the town of Stockbridge – including open space, forest land, farmland, wetlands, waterways, historic structures, and affordable housing.
